2/21/13 / Kassidy Benson
We are so excited to welcome our three new hires: Andrew Monroe, Kate Darwent, and Matt Bruce. Our employees bring intellectual horsepower to our problem-solving methods and are the backbone of everything we do. We pride ourselves on building a team that embodies the essence of Corona: bright thinking and brilliant guidance. Their skills, perspective and knowledge already resonate in their work. Andrew, Kate, and Matt each bring individual expertise to the firm that expands our capabilities.
Interesting Fact about Andrew:
He was the state champion for Academic Decathlon in Iowa. For those of you who aren’t familiar, the Academic Decathlon is a team competition wherein students are tested in ten categories (Art, Economics, Essay, Interview, Language and Literature, Mathematics, Music, Science, Social Science, and Speech) against other student within the state.
Interesting Fact about Kate:
She once met Leonard Nimoy at an airport and asked him for his autograph to give to her friend. He signed her boarding pass, but was pretty grumpy. He had just spent the weekend at some Scifi convention, so he was probably sick of talking to fans. Now she wishes that she had kept Nimoy’s autograph for herself because her husband has William Shatner’s autograph. They could have started a whole Star Trek collection! Meet Kate.
Interesting Fact about Matt:
While on an adventure through Africa, Matt once rode 260 kilometers from Tanga, Tanzania to Dar es Salaam on a one-speed Japanese cruiser bike. The journey took them across two rivers and through national parks. Matt admits that he underestimated the distance of the journey because they were using a postcard size map to navigate. Meet Matt.
