Corona Insights is thrilled to announce that its very own Karla Raines is a finalist for the 2012 Outstanding Women in Business, Small Business Category, sponsored by the Denver Business Journal. Karla was nominated by the Center for Women’s Health Research, Anschutz Medical Campus, where she serves on the Advisory Board.
As noted in the nomination, Karla flexed her entrepreneurial muscles when she assumed CEO at Corona Insights in early spring 2010. This underlying skill has been manifesting itself in her consulting engagements for years, but was put to the test in this new role. Under her leadership, Corona faced the recession head-on, and the results have been impressive and undeniable. She stands as a strong female role model, inspiring courageous leadership in her peers.
Karla embodies the entrepreneurial spirit and brings it to everything she does. She lives the Corona brand every day and inspires it in her staff. She is always on message with firm’s strategic direction. She is constantly seeking new opportunities to foster cross-collaboration, increase efficiencies and maximize current or new revenue streams. With her MBA training, she has a keen understanding of market dynamics and the intricacies of running a business.
We congratulate Karla on this prestigious honor and look forward to celebrating with all the honorees on August 16th.
