Insights for Good #6
6/11/11 / David Kennedy
While the peaks may still be covered in snow, work at the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative is already underway for the season. The Fourteeners (i.e. Peaks above 14,000′) are hugely popular among Coloradans and tourist alike. Such heavy use, combined with sensitive terrain means much work is needed to preserve and extend the many trails on these peaks and CFI relies heavily on donations and volunteer work to get this job done.
Our June meetup is with CFI. Our goal for the evening will be to help them market the organization, including things they can still do this season to attract support as well as into the future.

Thank you to everyone who has participated in our first fivegroups – all of the nonprofits left with great ideas! And groups member have been providing great feedback as well. (This may our last group for a while as summer is always a busy time for everyone…even more reason to attend now!)
As always, please extend this invite to others! Hope to see you there!

About Insights for Good:
Insights for Good was created by Corona Insights in our continued efforts to give back to the Denver community.
There is a lot of marketing talent in Denver – and there are a lot of great nonprofits that need great marketing talent. However, getting the two together isn’t always easy.
So what is Insights for Good? Insights for Good is a gathering of local marketing professionals that want to give back to a local nonprofit while also networking with like-minded professionals.
How does it work? The first 15-20 minutes is like many networking events – introductions and conversation. Then the nonprofit will introduce themselves, give an overview of their challenges, and then the brainstorming and real interaction begins. The goal is to generate as many fresh insights as possible that the nonprofit can take away to further explore and build on.
There is no further commitment beyond the one night – just an evening of networking, brainstorming, and doing some good!
